“Have a Heart” Quilt Exhibition
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Have A Heart Auction has been postponed. Updates will be posted to this website. Thank you for your understanding.
Presented by Unlimited Possibilities Magazine
Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) is the largest single cause of mortality among women, accounting for 38 percent of all deaths among females. That's one in three women. Each one of us is affected by these staggering statistics. More research, funds and attention need to be directed to this very serious health issue. At Meander Publishing, we are committed to bringing focus to this effort. Shown here are the entrants in the Second Annual 'Have A Heart' Quilt Competition, open to all machine quilters. This competition will directly benefit the American Heart Association in its efforts to educate women about CVD.
The donated quilts will be auctioned in November 2008 and 100% of the auction proceeds will go to the American Heart Association for their Go Red For Women education campaign. Check out their website www.goredforwomen.org.
